Don’t worry about drowning in research and comparisons – we’ve done the work for you! Our experienced staff at Maita Automotive Group has carefully pitted the 2018 Toyota RAV4 against another popular SUV, the 2018 Nissan Rogue, and we can confidently say that the 2018 Toyota RAV4 will give you much more value. Ready to take it for a test drive? Come to Maita Automotive Group and go for a spin down Route 99. Let us know if you have any questions by writing to us in the contact form on this page!

Performance

Both of these SUVs have excellent mechanics, but the 2018 Toyota RAV4 performs just a little bit better. When you put your foot to the pedal in the Toyota, you’ll feel the 2.5L 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine pump out 176 horsepower and 172 lb.-ft. of torque. To contrast, the Nissan Rogue only manages 170 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque. You’ll also have better stability in the 2018 Toyota RAV4, as the FWD with an Automatic Limited-Slip Differential proves. The Toyota RAV4 is better prepared for all kinds of weather with its heavy-duty battery, heavy-duty starter, heavy-duty heater, and cold weather engine coolant. You won’t find any of that in the 2018 Rogue!

Exterior

The exterior of the 2018 Toyota RAV4 is also a bit more useful than the Rogue’s. For example, both have power outside mirrors with a folding feature, but the Toyota comes with blind spot mirrors1 that help you spot any drivers who are creeping up on either side of you, making highway driving much safer and simpler. The 2018 Toyota RAV4 has the potential to look more sophisticated than the Rogue, since you can upgrade to include front and rear silver-painted bumper garnish. Also, the advanced RAV4 trims come with heated outside mirrors, while the Rogue does not.

Interior

One of the most essential parts of every drive is safely backing out of or into a parking space, and doing so is far easier and safer in the 2018 Toyota RAV4. It comes with a backup camera2 with projected path static lines, and you can upgrade to get dynamic gridlines for enhanced precision. You won’t have any of these options in the Rogue, just a plain monitor3. The 2018 Nissan Rogue comes with cruise control and steering-wheel mounted switches, but the RAV4 boasts a far more useful tilt/telescopic urethane steering wheel with audio, Multi-Information Display, voice recognition, and Bluetooth®4 hands free phone controls so that you’ll be able to do a whole lot more without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.

We think it’s pretty clear who the winner is of the dispute between the 2018 Toyota RAV4 vs 2018 Nissan Rogue in Sacramento, CA. Come take the RAV4 for a test drive to see for yourself! We’re excited to help you shop for the SUV that you deserve at Maita Automotive Group.

Brian Butcher that works here is the best! He seriously helped me out figuring out what was needed, and also went beyond that (i was having a problem with the work done at Pep Boys off folsom blvd) let me know some Important information about parts that were missing on my cat. From Pep Boys! And the people/person that worked on my car did an exceptional job! I feel SO much better after getting it done here! This is the spot to take your car if you want it done right! I found out the hard way, but let's just say i was paid in full for the huge mess Pep Boys did! Oh, and I personally will NEVER go to Pep Boys. But Thank you so much Toyota for Everything! You all rock!

The sraff was wonderful....not pushy or annoying like some dealerships. Knowledgeable sales people...I may be buying a car from them but I am not sure since I am still doing research. I have had two Toyota vehicles in the past one was totalled and the other 1998 is still running great for my son who bought it from me.
